GNOME-Art Next Generation és un programa que permet canviar de forma fàcil l’aspecte del GNOME. És exactament el mateix que l’aplicació que es fa servir per defecte al GNOME per canviar l’aparença, però té una novetat interessant.
El programa no mostra només els temes d’icones, fons d’escriptori, fonts, etc. instal·lats al sistema, sinó que mostra tots els temes de GNOME-Art. Això vol dir que podem triar entre una quantitat molt gran de fons d’escriptori, icones, decoració de finestres, etc. amb només un clic. Ja no caldrà anar a pàgines com gnome-look o la mateixa gnome-art per cercar nous temes o fons d’escriptori.
La instal·lació és més que senzilla, ja que no n’hi ha. Només cal descarregar el fitxer comprimit que us deixem al final, descomprimir-lo i fer doble clic sobre el fitxer .sh per executar-lo. El programa començarà a funcionar sense cap problema (cal comentar que ha de descarregar algunes quantes coses i això triga una estona).
En definitiva, una eina prou interessant per canviar l’aspecte de l’escriptori sense mal de caps i a només un clic del ratolí de distància.

Ho he intentat provar a ubuntu 7.10 però o funciona em diu que manca mono , quin paquet instal·le ?
Ummm, és curiós. Tot i així:
sudo apt-get install mono
Si et demana llibreries, instal·la també mono-devel.

sudo aptitude install mono
i al executar gonme-art em dona l’error:

Ara mateix no tinc molt de temps per investigar amb l’error. Ràpidament, he vist que una altra dependència és:
gtk-sharp2
Prova a instal·lar-la i, sobretot, no executes el programa com a root (res de sudo).
No van per la versio 0.7?
